So many new things are happening with The Adoption Authority! In the last few months, we have started an outreach program for potential birth mothers. We have made numerous contacts and spoken with dozens of potential birth mothers. We have several birthmothers already matched to adoptive families and we are focused on increasing these numbers.
We offer a variety of services to birth mothers, depending on the situation and needs of the parent. We are able to meet with these ladies, assess their needs and provide supportive services such as counseling, identifying an adoptive family, job training, suitable housing, medical care, GED programs, just to name a few resources available.
We realize that the pathway to becoming a family can be as unique as the parents creating that family. We are thrilled to be a part of the process in any way. We look forward to many more matches and providing the personalized care and services to all of our families.
